AIESEC in Skopje first existed under AIESEC Yugoslavia in 1953. In 1993, AIESEC Yugoslavia divided into separate entities, thus beginning the legacy of what is now called AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia and its one sub entity LC Skopje. Since its beginning, AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia has cooperated with more than 500 Macedonian and international companies and organizations.
It has also realized over 500 internships in Macedonian companies in addition to sending 500 Macedonian students to gain international work experience abroad. In its history, AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia has comprised of over 300 alumni, including prominent national and international individuals.
A big part of the activities and results of AIESEC in Macedonia ever since its beginnings have been carried by LC Skopje. Today AIESEC Skopje has around 106 active members which are mainly allocated in projects working around certain issues.
